This weekend the Orange Glen Dance Company ended our competition season with a bang. Over the past month the kids have competed in regional competitions in San Marcos and Rancho Bernardo where they earned 2nd and 3rd place against other teams from the area. This weekend they traveled to Torrance for our biggest competition where they had to compete against 13 of southern California's BEST co-ed teams and they placed 6th! This is an amazing accomplishment for our kids and says so much about their work ethic because collectively they have far less dance experience than most of the other teams. 

The most exciting part of the evening was when our very own Raychell Panlaqui competed in the solo category against 23 other amazing soloists and she placed SECOND!!!!! We all shouted so loud that we lost our voices (some of us cried) and our whole dance family is just so proud of our captain. 

If you see any of the company members around please congratulate them and know that they represented our school with pride and respect and they are building relationships with dancers all over the area.
