I am now teaching Independent Study, and I am also working this year as an Attendance TOSA.
I feel incredibly lucky to still be a teacher at Orange Glen teaching your sons and daughters (and brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews). The students at Orange Glen are remarkably compassionate and intelligent; they work hard and they help each other. They are honest and polite. They are the finest people people I have ever met.
I have taught at Orange Glen High School since 1995.
My teaching assignments have included English 9 (honors, college prep, and sheltered),
English 10 (college prep and honors), English 12 (British Literature: college prep, honors, and sheltered), Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition, Advanced Placement Art History, Language Skills Improvement (for at-risk ninth grade students), English Language Development III (for second language learners), and AVID classes.
In 2017 I was chosen as NBC 7's Inspirational Teacher of the month.
