OG’s Show Choir – Opus One – was treated to a Master Class taught by Tony Award-winner Christian Hoff who played Tommy DeVito in the Broadway production of “Jersey Boys.” Mr. Hoff spent 1 -1/2 hours with the OG singers, working on vocal and dance parts in preparation for their up-coming performances of “Jersey Boys.”

Orange Glen Boys Basketball won in overtime against Capistrano Valley in the first round of CIF State Southern Section playoffs. Michael Diaz nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer during regulation to push the game to OT. They played outstanding team basketball and made OG proud!

Today we were visited by Assemblywoman Marie Waldron’s Field Representative Matt Stockton. Matt presented signed certificates congratulating the team for their recent run in the Division III State Basketball tournament and getting to the Elite 8. Matt took a photo with each player and coach, as well as a group photo with the team to congratulated them on a job well done. Their efforts have made Orange Glen and the City of Escondido very proud!!

It is highly important that students arrive to their classes on time. Starting after spring break, students arriving after 7:45 a.m. will receive a personal pass from an administrator. At 8:00 a.m. students arriving late must report to the attendance office for a time-stamped pass. We expect students to demonstrate respect to their classmates and teachers by arriving to class on time daily. We are in this together!

OG boys volleyball team took down San Dieguito Academy 3-1 yesterday. Outstanding offense, defense, setting, and serving by OG to keep them at 10-4 overall.

Please congratulate our OG Winter Guard - 1st Place winners at Saturday's WGASC San Diego Invitational competition at Mission Hills.

The Patriot ladies and gentleman won their AA Division round and out-pointed 8 other guards, including both San Pasqual and Valley Center.
