Los Primos has selected the "Three Amigos" as the winner of the Uber Eats/Los Primos contest. Their burrito will be featured for the menu item of the month. Please congratulate the following students, Monica Luna, Ivan Soria Martinez. Rodrigo Carrada for their creation.

Culinary teachers Kristi Sovacool and Laura Gardiner created another powerful learning project for our culinary students by partnering with Uber Eats, Primos Mexican Food & Cantinas, and Cravory Cookies.

The winners of the Cravory/Uber project created the Raspberry White Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cookie. They are students from 1st period Baking and Pastry: Alma Anguiano, Jose Fabian, Joanna Payan, Alec Ellsworth, & Celia De La Torre Rodriguez.

Tomorrow, March 8th starting at 8:00 AM, Palomar College will be in the College & Career Center to assist students with applications and any questions they many have. This is the last time Palomar will be on our campus for this academic school year. Please encourage students to see me in order to schedule an appointment with a Palomar representative.

After months of preparation, students are now presenting their dishes, one of which will be selected to be featured by Uber Eats partners, Primos Mexican Food & Cantinas and one with Cravory Cookies. Well done, Ms. Gardiner and Ms. Sovacool!

Cynthia Varela, Eliana Pelayo, Ariatna Pelayo, Ramiro Ledesma, and Madahi Mendiola helped Mr. Turek and Ms. Pratt this weekend to help clear a home that was destroyed by the Bonsall fire. The home was made of stucco and had a Spanish tile roof, so there was a lot of heavy lifting, sledge hammer work and cutting of chicken wire.

The Pacific Islander Club participated in the annual high school conference at UCSD on Saturday with the theme, "There's just no telling how far I'll go!" Way to represent OG, ladies!

Please join us in congratulating Ramiro Ledesma, OGHS Senior, for winning 1 of 106 Horatio Alger scholarships nationwide. Ramiro competed against 40,000 other U.S. high school students, and he landed in the top less than 1%. Congratulations, Ramiro!
